Please read these terms carefully before purchasing a pass and attending the Event. Your purchase and attendance indicate your acceptance of these terms. 1. Event Program: VentureBeat, Inc. holds the exclusive right to add, withdraw, reschedule, or substitute exhibitors, programs, and events during the Event. 2. Compliance and Safety: All pass holders must comply with posted regulations at the Event, follow instructions posted on the event website, and adhere to necessary directives given at the Event for safety and proper conduct. The Event reserves the right to perform searches of individuals and their belongings upon entry. 3. Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited within the Event premises: (i) guns, firearms, and projectile-discharging devices; (ii) stunning devices; (iii) sharp-pointed or sharp-edged objects; (iv) drugs, toxins, hazardous substances; (v) beverages in cans or glass bottles; (vi) non-service pets; (vii) hate speech materials; (viii) any dangerous or potentially damaging materials or devices. 4. Code of Conduct: Attendees found engaging in inappropriate behavior, unruly conduct, or inciting dangerous situations will be immediately removed from the event without refund. 5. Liability: VentureBeat, Inc. shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damages sustained during the Event, whether caused by event staff negligence, exhibitors, or other factors. 6. Photography and Recording: Attendees consent to filming, photography, and sound recordings, which may be used for marketing purposes by VentureBeat, Inc. in the future without requiring consent of said attendees. 7. Privacy and Marketing: By registering for the Event, you consent to VentureBeat sharing your registration information with event sponsors and partners, who may contact you about their products and services via email or phone. You can withdraw consent by contacting events@venturebeat.com or the sponsor/partner directly. Unsubscribe links are provided in marketing emails. 8. Amendment and Governing Law: Any amendments to these terms must be signed by a Event legal representative. These terms, along with any additional Event terms and conditions on the event website, constitute the binding agreement between the parties. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California. Cancellation Policy (if applicable): Full refunds are allowed until 14 days before the event by emailing your request to events@venturebeat.com. 14 days before the event you may change the name of the pass holder, but no refunds will be administered. See the Substitution Policy below for more information on transferring your pass.. Substitution Policy (if applicable) If you are unable to make it, you can transfer your pass. To do so, email events@venturebeat.com with the new attendee’s name, email, title, company, and phone number.
